Absolutely loved our experience at Sambal! The service was incredible—everyone was so warm and attentive. The fusion dishes were super flavorful and unique, and the cocktails were perfectly crafted. But the real highlight? The view! Watching the sunset while sipping our drinks made for the most magical end to the evening. Can’t wait to go back!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Irvington with a gorgeous new deck overlooking the Hudson. Atmosphere is always fun and lively and of course the food is fresh , tasty and delicious. There’s a lot of vegan and gluten free options too. My favorite dish is a seafood masterpiece thy make it gf especially when I ask. Can’t ask for better friendlier service. A great place to celebrate special anniversary parties too! Free yummy chocolate cake!

With multiple dietary restrictions, I was a bit apprehensive about finding something that would work for me when I went to Sambal this past weekend . However, the chef went above and beyond, taking the time to understand my needs and creating a custom dish that was not only delicious but also authentic to Thai cuisine. The flavors were spot on, and the presentation was beautiful. My dining companions also enjoyed their meals, and we all left feeling satisfied. As a repeat customer, I can attest that Sample Restaurant is one of my go-to spots for summer evenings. The outdoor rooftop dining area is truly heavenly, especially during sunset when the mountains provide a stunning backdrop. The restaurant's waterfront location adds to the ambiance, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The combination of delicious Thai cuisine, exceptional service, and breathtaking views makes it a standout in my book. Highly recommended!

We found this spot while at the irvington scenic hudson park. Went it and there was an option of window seating and an enclosed rooftop outdoor seating. The place had a quiet yet upscale ambience and was very welcoming. We got the roti kanai, thai iced tea (was the best, very subtle sweetness), spicy jungle fried rice and cauliflower manchurian. Food was really amazing and we loved all food options. The service was good and quick.

My first time, I loved the view of the water and the food here is beyond amazing Thai, I got their fried Thai rice with shrimp and it was delicious I can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing experience!!! We were running late due to Uber issues, and Sham, the manager, was incredibly nice! He understood our situation and took the order over the phone so the kitchen didn't close on us. The food was DELICIOUS! The ambience and views were lovely, and the staff was very courteous! Would highly recommend Sambal and especially Sham for a fantastic dinner experience!!!

Food and service are good. There is a huge parking lot. Nice view on the Hudson River.

Love everything about this place. Sham aka Sam was a great server. Very welcoming & did not feel rushed. Food & views from outdoor patio are outstanding. Clean & reasonably priced. Try the lunch specials, good sized portions & so yummy
